Meet the 3 Finalists of the $10,000 Room Makeover Contest!

This is a time in our life when change comes at us fast and furious. Kids off to college, unexpected illness, parents needing assistance, and on and on. For more than a month you have been sending us your own life-change stories.

We then selected the nine most inspiring and asked you to vote for the one you thought most deserving of the $10,000 first prize. Your votes have been counted and we now have our three top-vote-getting finalists:

• Lisa from Ohio, who found a second calling when a friend was diagnosed with cancer
• Janet from Oregon, whose husband was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's
• Linda from Georgia, whose life has been turned upside down by divorce and death
