Boil 2 cups of water with ¾ cup sugar to form a thin syrup. In a blender, mix 2 quarts of washed, hulled strawberries. Chill syrup and strawberries separately. Then combine, adding juice of one lemon and 2 cups Rhine or Moselle wine. Add grated rinds of an orange and a lemon and serve with sour cream or whipped cream. Adapted from Squidoo.com.
