Chris Nease, editor of the Celebrations At Home blog, finds a creative way to use old books in this Thanksgiving centerpiece--she uses them as risers in the center of the table to hold glass vases with cut flowers in them. The books add an earthly feel to the table while the flowers themselves reflect the traditional Thanksgiving hues. Then the blue vases add an unexpected pop of color.
