Coldwell Banker just released its annual home listing real estate price trends report that outlines some of the most expensive places to live in America. Here are the 10 states where the average home value of a four-bedroom, two-bath house adds up to expensive properties.
Of the 10 states where the average home value adds up to expensive properties, Hawaii is number one. Coldwell Banker says that average listing price of four-bedroom, two-bath houses for sale in Hawaii is $742,551. Compare that to the listing prices for houses for sale in America, where the nationwide average is $292,152--that's quite a difference.
Hawaii is actually a U.S. state, so it's part of America! Perhaps the writer should have said "Compare that to listing prices for homes on the mainland."
