Musician Rick Derringer is best know for his songs in the 1960s ("Hang on Sloopy") and 1970s ("Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo"), but these days he's making headlines in Florida because of foreclosure proceedings. The Sun Sentinel reported that in 2010 Derringer and his wife were at risk of losing their Ellenton, Florida home, because they defaulted on a 2004 line of credit for $46,000 associated with the house they'd purchased in 2003.
