A few weeks ago I attended a press event that featured new products, many of which help Americans live frugally by helping them to cook at home. Here are some of my favorites.

I've written on my Suddenly Frugal blog about how my slow cooker saves me money on breakfast and dinner as well as how it can save time and money when entertaining. Well, this new Crock-Pot Triple Dipper ($79.99 to $89.99) takes slow cooking to another level. This device not only heats hot hors d'oeuvres when you're having a party, but also it is designed to be portable so you can take your hot appetizers with you to serve at someone else's party. Additionally, the top (not pictured) doubles as a chip-and-dip bowl.
