7 New Products to Help You Live Frugally

A few weeks ago I attended a press event that featured new products, many of which help Americans live frugally by helping them to cook at home. Here are some of my favorites.

Men's Health magazine says that Americans spend $2.5 billion annually on smoothies—that is, buying them at retail locations, such as Smoothie King and Jamba Juice. If you're a smoothie fan, then investing in an Oster MyBlend Blender ($29.99) might make a lot of sense. What makes this new product innovative is the fact that the bottle you "blend" your smoothie in converts to a portable, BPA-free sports bottle that you can take with you.
