Paint

If you've ever painted your house with cheapo paint, you know the drill—you have to put on multiple coats to get your walls to look halfway decent. Because you end up having to buy twice as much of the cheapo paint in the end to get the job done, it would make sense to spend more on the more expensive paint upfront. I'm partial to the Benjamin Moore brand, though I've had great experiences painting my house with both the Behr brand from Home Depot and the Valspar brand from Lowe's.
