Brain Food . . . Simple Recipes to Delight Your Palate and Your Mind

I worry about my mind slowing down, so I've turned to brain foods, which also tend to be heart-healthy. Foods rich in antioxidants, such as dark-colored fruits and vegetables, help the brain to both learn better and tolerate stress, according to some studies. Omega-3 fatty acids, such as those found in salmon, are believed to slow down cognitive decline.

Avocado, Tomato and Corn Salad
