Academy Award Nominations 2012: George Clooney

Academy Award nominee George Clooney—he got an Oscar nomination as best actor for the movie "The Descendants"—is well known for inviting people to stay in his celebrity home on Lake Como in Italy. A recent New York Daily News story said that when celebrities visit the Lake Como celebrity house, many go skinny dipping. George Clooney told US Weekly that buying the 18th-century celebrity house—OK celebrity mansion or celebrity villa—was the best purchase of his life. George Clooney does maintain a celebrity home in the United States as well—in Studio City, California.
