House Cleaning Checklist, Day 2: Back of the House

On the second day of your house cleaning checklist, focus on the back of the house. In most homes that would include bedrooms, hallways, and stairs.

• Dust neglected areas in these rooms, including ceiling fans, light fixtures, vents, ceiling corners
• Wipe down doorways, furniture, and knickknacks
• Vacuum floors, especially under the bed, along the baseboards, and under the furniture
• Mop floors if necessary
• Lay out fresh linens and towels in the guest bedroom(s)
