Make a Chocolate House for the Holidays

Recently I attended a chocolate house workshop at Tudor Place, a charming historic house in the Georgetown district of Washington, D.C. Here is how you too can make a chocolate house for the holidays for a sweet variation on holiday gingerbread houses. See the last slide for additional links to candy houses and other holiday goodies.

Chocolate House: Make the Chocolate Molds

You can buy chocolate house molds at, among other places, craft shops, such as Michael's, or at Amazon. You'll also need to purchase candy melts, of which Wilton is a popular brand that comes in a range of colors and flavors.

Handle the pieces gingerly, because the warmth of your hands can melt the chocolate.
