Deer

Some experts estimate that deer cause the most amount of damage to agriculture, landscapes, and gardens—more so than any other wildlife creature. I know firsthand about that damage—especially when it comes to plants that deer love, such as hosta. The best way to prevent deer from destroying your garden is not to plant plants they prefer, such as hostas. Hostas=deer salad. Look for tags on plants that say "deer resistant" to improve your chances that your neighborhood deer will pass your garden by and go snack in your neighbor's yard.
